The buzz word lately is solar energy , with the worries  about green house gases and the masive emisions  made  by the use  of fossil fuels  in the generation of commercial electricity, and the upwardly rising cost of the fuels themselves.

Until comparatively  recently the efficient  use of Photovoltiac cells to generate  a practical  solar power stock  for the DIY sector , was inadequate . However  in recent years the know-how  has grown  to such a degree that it is not unreasonable  to ask why construct  your own “homemade solar panels?”
