The Australian government has made strides to give owners a home insulation rebate to eligible homes. To be considered eligible, you must have a house that does not meet proper levels of ceiling and roofing insulation. By doing this, you can save considerably on the cost of your electric bill.
This rebate program has been in effect since July of 2009, and it has allowed home owners to get this done, often with no cost to them. There is enough money to cover 2.2 million homes, so you do need to take advantage of this while you can.
