Solar Panel Roof Installation

Solar panels are fantastic things when you are talking about saving money, and solar panel roof installation is not that big a problem if you plan ahead. If you are in the process of building your house, then it is even easier, as it can be done at the same time. If you are not building, you can still benefit from them.

Solar panel mounts should be installed when the home is being roofed, but can be added in later or to an existing construction with the proper roof mounts. Make sure that they are drilled into the rafters, and use a stud finder along with a pilot bit. Using a laser sight is another good thing to do, as it will make sure everything is lined up properly.

Use lag bolts made out of stainless steel to secure the mounts.
